Meridith J. Clark is a Physician Assistant board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), specializing in ophthalmology for over twenty years. While she is presently performing comprehensive and problem focused exams with an emphasis on retinal pathology, with Dr. Dana M. Deupree at The Macula Center, she is also treating general ophthalmology conditions including dry eye syndrome.
In addition to her current work at The Macula Center, Meridith has been a primary investigator and sub-investigator for multiple clinical research trials with Blue Ocean Clinical Research.
Her professional affiliations have included the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Academy of Physician Assistants.
Meridith graduated from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida where she earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. After her time at the College of Medicine, she extended her knowledge of cardiology, working with and studying under an interventional cardiologist in Tampa, Florida. She then returned to her passion of ophthalmology, finishing her ophthalmology education and training at St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Institute. She practiced both general ophthalmology and retinal care, prior to joining The Macula Center.
Meridith J. Clark, PA-C lives in New Port Richey with her husband Chad and their children. She and her family have had a keen interest in underprivileged children and are currently serving as a licensed foster family, as I have for over four years. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing and watching sports, and being on the water.
